Rescue

Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue has a team of trained staff and volunteers available to rescue wildlife seven days a week. Using gloves, nets and other safety gear, we are able to safely catch wildlife ranging from hawks and owls to raccoons and coyotes.

Rehabilitate

We provide specialized medical care to over 1,500 animals a year. With the help of our in house animal care team and a network of good Samaritan veterinarians off-site, we are able to perform surgeries, nutritional care, detailed exams and much more to give these animals the best chance of survival.

Release

On average, Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue releases 80% of the patients who come to us for help. The majority return to where they were found. In certain cases, animals are released to special release sites provided by generous members of our community who love animals and want to share their property with them.
